Alien terrain-Orok

after a trying many different tests and scrapping all of them i think i have found something that best achieves the look i was after and is easy enough to do. I have settled on building the sets in photo shop importing the psd file into AE then move the objects back or forward in a 3D space and then scaling them up/down so that they appear to be the original size of the psd

studio sesh with king orok.... or is it hitler?

filming went reasonably well with Jake who plays the alien king, a few issue that neither of us could control got in the way but i cbf ranting about it here (although that's what blogs a for) Jake delivered a stellar performance, improvising the majority of the lines including the final scene (an epic speech) which i somehow managed to lose the script for.... a page that he had never read. the kid is a shoe in for an oscar... or at least a bacon deluxe on me. The footage is all logged and most of it captured but as always with importing footage (so i have found) something goes wrong so i have have to dude the rest in class tomorrow. looking forward to begin editing.

GOOD:
